The most harrowing stories can be found in an impressive career. Lolo, who won the USA and World Championships for hurdle events in 2013, reached this position with a lot of work and perseverance. Jones, who was born to a motherless family with five children who were stricken by poverty and hardship as a youngster, experienced an extremely challenging childhood. Her mom lived in the road and even within the basement of the local church in the past. Jones' nomadic lifestyle made her change school every year up to high school. At Theodore Roosevelt High School Jones was separated from her mother to pursue her interests in athletics. Jones was part of four families during her time at high school in order study in one place.
